Mykala: "I tried to! I gave them at least 3 counts and tried to give them 4!"

Our princess will be a 1st grader this year! Wow! And it'll be a whole new adventure since she'll be going to another school. The school she went to last year is small and because we don't live in that area, they couldn't guarantee her a spot. So, we've decided to put her into another school that she's grown somewhat familiar with over the summer. We really like her school so far. We're impressed by the office staff and the principal. It's bigger, and they're in the process of building a new school, which will be up next year. And because of the summer program she attended, she already knows many of the kids and some of the teachers. We're excited for her.

Mykala still has multiple interests; she's into a little bit of everything right now. She really likes beading right now (so far she's made me and Grampa lizard keychains, Gramma Lunceford a frog, and a couple necklaces), she's still very much a reader, and is a little gamer herself. She's always loved board games, but now she's into video games, too. Her favorite thing to do right now is playing games on the Barbie website. She likes painting, drawing, dressing up, and dancing. She's even grown fond of yoga and I'm excited to encourage that and do it with her - it'll be good for both of us!

We're pretty crazy about our little girl! :)
