Fam in Town

Ryan, Natalia, and Lexi came to Phoenix on Saturday and the rest of my family came in Monday night. We were so excited to see everybody and of course we had a ton of fun. :) We definitely don't see each other enough! It was unfortunate only being with them for two days, but I guess it's much better than not seeing them at all. We consider ourselves lucky to have been able to see them twice this year, but it doesn't make the goodbyes any easier.... We love and miss you all!!!

Playing a game called "Don't hit the net" - where the only rule is to not hit the net .....and maybe not get hit by the ball. It's gonna be big. :)

Day at the Phoenix Zoo

Here are a few pictures taken at the Phoenix zoo, or as Mykala called it, the "jungle". I only took a few, which surprises me....I wish I had taken more. I'm going to have to steal a couple from my father....hear that, dad? :)

"Thanksgiving"

While my family was here, we decided to celebrate Thanksgiving early at Fajitas. It was a ton of fun and the food was (and always is) AMAZING.

Angry Faces

This is what happens when we're bored...

Baby Einstein

Never underestimate Baby Einstein and its hypnotic abilities
(Ironically, Jace is the only one who's not entranced...)

MISS MYKALA 4 YEAR OLD

Aunt Lexi decorated most of Mykala's birthday cake. Mykala told me earlier that day that she wanted to be called "Miss Mykala 4 year old" so that's what we decided to write on the cake. Thank you Lexi, you're awesome - and the cake looks great!! :)

Lunceford Birthday Party

On Sunday (11/23) we had a birthday party for Mykala with the Lunceford side of the family (Grama and Grampa Lunceford were nice enough to let us hold it at their house!) There was a good amount of people there - Mykala got one heck of a bday song! We had a good time....and Kala loved it!

Kala's New Bike

For Mykala's birthday, we got her a Disney Princess bike. She had spent the night before at Grama and Grampa Lunceford's and so we put the bike in her room for a surprise when she got home.
Mykala was so excited and was a pro as soon as she got on the bike. She cruised around with very little problems.... even turned around all by herself!!!
She stopped every once in awhile for water breaks...it was adorable. :)
She'll soon be ready to do a century ride with daddy!!!

Kala's Band Aid

Ok, so I've already gotten the comment/critique that you can't see Mykala's non-cool band-aid in one of the past posts and that we have boring bandaids.
But, as I've already explained, we don't encourage colored bandaids at our house. (I know, I know...we're awful! But until they prove that the absence of cool band aids in a kid's life leads to their needing therapy in their future, I will stand by it.)
If you allow cool bandaids in the house, they then become necessary accessories....
(and not to mention the possibility of a lovely talk with CPS)
:)

Tinkerbell

Kala's favorite movie right now
(Do I have to mention the fact we've seen it a hundred times, or has everyone already assumed that by now??) :)

Stuck

Getting into more trouble than even he can handle!

Mykala's Quote of the Week

"Um, let me ask you a question. My question is...." ( and this statement is more often than not, NOT followed by a question....)

Quote of the Day

Today Mykala got time-out for breaking something and while she was on the chair she said (or repeated, I should say), "This is not my favorite thing!!!"
