White Christmas

We promised Grama and Grampa Lunceford snowmen and snow angels, but surprisingly, there wasn't much snow!

Jace dug right in.

 Erin watching the Phoenicians.  :)

Yes, I do believe that's a hula hoop....

(He missed me!)

 It was a bit chilly...

Christmas in Logan

Jace got his own push for Christmas. I think he would have been happy with only that.

 Kala got a princess watch

This was an event in Logan that we attended. The kids really liked it!

Miss Myk (who's not smiling.)

And yes... even Bear. He is part of the family, after all! (All Jacer's idea!)

Jacer was hooked on Uncle Ryan that night. :)

 Chillin' with the aunts

 Burying Jacer in pillows...

 The whole famn damily

Like I said.... hooked!

When the event was pretty much over, Jacer went crazy running around the gym... he was running circles around strangers (literally) and was picking fights. It was great fun. :) If I have a video that works, I'll upload it. I really hope I have one!

Winter

Ah. So the long-awaited winter break is here! And Christmas is so close! Wow.

Well, finals (for me) came and left. I lucked out with my classes this year and got to end a little early. Now I get to play the impatient waiting game until my grades are posted. Poor Chad isn't so lucky, but he's nearing the end. He has two more finals to go and will be free on Wednesday.
It's been a rough and crazy semester... and from all angles! We've struggled and have had to work extra hard. But we did it.

Since I'm already done, we've taken the kids completely out of daycare. It's been  nice to be just a mom again; it's hard being a mom and a student.

We leave for Utah soon and I'm feeling a little nervous with how quickly it's approaching. I'm not exactly looking forward to hauling my two kids, my crazy self, and all our luggage by myself. But it'll be great once all that's over! I'm also not looking forward to the cold. At all. Why can't Utah be warm and sunny like Phoenix?? (Did I mention it's 70 degrees right now?)

Oh well. I guess it's worth it. Those coats need to be dusted off and given some love, right? :) :)
(And hopefully this proves to you people how much I love you!!) :)

Anyway. If I don't make it on before it's too late, Merry Christmas!

Christmas Party

Kala and Jace performed in the church's Primary program. Jace was an adorable snowman and Kala was an awesome little singer! :)
(And sorry, they're unedited.)

Birthday Girl!

Our Miss Mykala is now 5 years old!!!!

We went to Grama and Grampa Lunceford's house and had a small Princess birthday party. Right now our little girl is crazy about Beauty and the Beast.

Mykala got a ton of presents, including this polka dot dress that she got from Grama and Grampa Lunceford.

Doesn't she look beautiful??

She and Grampa made a Birthday crown.

Kala got spoiled by Grama Jensen, too! She got lots of princess shoes, a princess dress, and jewelry. (She loves them!)

My Mykala and my Jace. :)

I love this picture.

Halloween 2010

Pumpkins that Daddy, Kala, and Mommy made
(I forgot to take a picture of them before we blew out the candles... so they aren't very lively!) :)

Daddy and Mommy (Kala snuck in!)

We had a pretty good Halloween this year! It was a really busy day, but it was fun! Kala looked forward to Halloween all week - she was so excited to be Belle! And she looked beautiful!  Getting her ready was so fun, but it was unfortunate that her hair was already messy by the time we got to the party. :) J Race looked adorable as a pirate, but it was funny getting him dressed. He thought the shirt was funny looking and he hated the "stubble" I tried to put on him. I had to call it quits after fighting with him over it. And he didn't care too much for the hat.... oh well. I'm happy he kept the "boots" on - I thought he'd hate those, too!
We got to make pumpkins this Halloween (unlike last year) and it was fun!  Kala wasn't disgusted by them like she was the first year we did it together. It completely grossed her out.. I think she even cried. Chad and I did awesome pumpkins that year! :) But this year, she chose the designs of her pumpkins herself and I think she even enjoyed cleaning them out!
At the party, the kids got to go trunk-or-treating. The kids, of course, got more candy than they can eat, so we'll have to help them (Shucks!)
....Isn't that why we send our kids trick-or-treating, though? They couldn't possibly handle all that candy by themselves!! :)

Happy Halloween, everyone - I hope it was wonderful!
