Home Sweet Home

We decided to take a day off and head to Sedona... it was awesome! It was great to have a family day playing in the desert. We got dirty, got to see gorgeous Sedona, got some exercise and some fresh air, got stabbed by cacti, ate awesome food, listened to some groovin' tunes, and had an absolute blast together. :)

When we got to Sedona, we stopped at the first trail head we saw - and I'm so glad we did! It was amazing! When we saw the first marker on the trail, Mykala asked what it was and I had her pose with a "what?" expression. Jace participated and from then on it became his pose every time I turned the camera on - it was great.

The kids really enjoyed the hike  - they ran most of the way!! I was surprised that they were happy and energetic the whole time. I think we could've done another trail, but we were hungry so we decided to go get lunch instead. 

Unfortunately, Miss Mykala got a little car sick on the way back, but she was a trooper and everyone made it home ok. 

We can't wait to do it again!
